Where can I end my ride?

Rides can only end in designated green zones on the map.
Tip! Park in a yellow zone to earn a bonus that can be used to pay off future rides.

What is a bonus zone?

Bonus zones are included within the parking zones and reward the users by offering a small bonus to use for future rides.
Tip! Bonus will be provided to a limited number of vehicles. If bonus zone can support 2 vehicles the first two mopeds that park there will claim it. Any additional moped will not.

Can I ride outside of the parking zone?

Yes. You can ride and pause (0,10€/min) outside of the parking zone. However, ending the ride is only possible within the parking zone.

What is a „no go” zone?

A no go zone is a no driving area where after crossing it the engine will be turned off. It’s also impossible to end the ride there.

What is a „no parking” zone?

A no parking zone is an area where you can ride but it’s not possible to end the ride.

What is a green zone?

A green zone is general zone where users can ride and park within the vehicle model limits and maximum speed.

How much does it cost to use Penny?

Check the updated prices in penny app based on your location.

Why am I unable to remove payment card from my profile?

To remove a card from your prole, you must rst pay off any outstanding debt. If it occurs,
contact us.

Can I pause my subscription?

No, pausing the subscription is not possible.

Can I rent a moped as a company?

If you need an invoice for rides, contact us via e-mail or live chat. For business inquiries
visit business tab or send us an e-mail.

Is it possible to rent a moped for a longer period?

Penny also offers long-term rentals. If you are interested in learning more about the offer, please check the offer in longterm tab or contact penny via the contact form on the website.

Is it possible to rent a moped for a full day?

You can purchase a subscription that gives you access to vehicles all day long with the ability to change and leave your vehicles anywhere within the available zones.

How does the top-up work?

To top up, go to My Wallet and select Add Balance. Choose your desired amount and
complete the payment. Each top-up comes with a bonus.

What subscriptions are available?

You can nd all the available plans in penny app under the Subscriptions section or on our
website.

How do I unlock a moped?
  • Find an available scooter
  • Scan the QR code and confirm to unlock the scooter
Can I use the app without an internet connection?

No, you need an internet connection to use the app.

How do I end the ride?
  • Find a suitable parking space
  • Put the scooter on the stand
  • Take off your helmet and put it in the trunk
  • Press “End Ride” in the app
Where can I find the helmet?

The helmet is in the trunk.

Can I ride a moped with a passenger?

The moped is a two seater but we provide only one helmet for each moped so the passenger must have their own helmet.

How do I download and set up the penny app?
  • Download the penny.rent – moped sharing app
  • Enter your details: Name, e-mail and phone number
  • Enter the code received by SMS
  • Go to the profile -> „Upload your documents” and click „continue”
  • Select your country and choose driver’s license
  • Take a photo of front then confirm if it’s readable. If it’s not – retake photo.
  • Repeat those steps with back side of your driver’s license.
  • Next upload a selfie by placing your face in the frame shown on the screen.
  • Documents will be verified within 2 minutes.
  • Then go to „my wallet” and add payment card details.
  • You can start driving!
My documents were rejected. What should I do?

Contact us via e-mail or live chat, or resubmit.

What should I do if my moped won’t start?

If the app shows that the ride is in progress and the moped does not turn on, please contact penny at phone number: +306984274908

I scanned the QR code, but it says the vehicle is unavailable. Why is that?

The moped is unavailable, please find another vehicle on the map. All mopeds visible on the map are available.

Why is my moped not accelerating?

In most cases the problem is the side stand, if after folding it the moped still does not accelerate, contact penny.

What to do if I was charged incorrectly?

Contact penny to clarify the situation. You can do this via the contact form on the website or live chat.

What to do in case of an accident?

Ensure your safety rst and inform Penny about the situation at +306984274908. Follow the
instructions provided.

What documents do I need to drive a moped?

To drive penny you need to be at least 18 years old and you must obey the local laws for 50cc/2kw mopeds.

How does the „invite your friend” feature work?

You can share your individual promotional code with friends and they will receive a €5 bonus. After they complete their ride you will also get a €5 bonus.

Where can I enter a promo code?

Add a promo code in the “My Wallet” section of the app.

What is the moped’s range?

A fully charged moped has a range of 80 km, but this may vary depending on speed, road
incline, passenger weight, and weather.

Is it possible to unlock more than one vehicle at the same time?

No. Each user can only unlock one vehicle at a time.
